Conimex receives Asia Pacific Supplier Award 2022 for Environmental Sustainability from Shell, reconfirming the determination to maintain sustainable business partnership

Conimex Co., Ltd. by Mr. Karan Tejasen – Chief Operating Officer, Performance and Polymer Packaging, SCGP, receives Asia Pacific Supplier Award 2022 for environmental sustainability from Shell Lubricant Asia Pacific, represented by Ms. Sukanya Teeraviboon - Country Planning Manager - Thailand, The Shell Company of Thailand Limited and team. Conimex is one of the 14 companies, among other 400 nominated companies, that were selected for their exemplary performance and outstanding display of environmental sustainability in the Asia-Pacific region. Shell, a world-class energy company, has implemented and committed to the policy to protect the environment and achieve sustainability. The Asia Pacific Supplier Award for Environmental Sustainability derived from the collaboration between Conimex and Shell in several projects, including the introduction of engine oil plastic gallons that contain 25% of Post-Consumer Recycled Resin (PCR). Altogether, Conimex helped reduce 439 tons of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) or 17% of Shell’s total CO2 reduction in ASEAN in 2021. The award shows trust and recognition from the international partner. It is a sign of the long and strong business partnership between the two companies that lasts for more than 40 years.
